We are searching for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounting Officer to join our growing team! In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our accounting department. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to our company's success.

Responsibilities:

• Navigate day-to-day accounting tasks: Handle account entries, bookkeeping, invoicing, payments, and inquiries with precision.
• Master month-end and year-end processes: Be part of crucial closing procedures for accurate financial reporting and assist the Accounting Lead with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Become an AR/AP expert: Manage customer payments, handle vendor invoices, and keep accounts reconciled.
• Provide support: Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage correspondence with professionalism.
• Collaborate seamlessly: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth financial transactions.
• Embrace flexibility: Be ready to tackle additional tasks as needed.

• Diploma in Accountancy, LCCI Higher or disciplines.
• Demonstrate prior experience in accounting or finance (bonus points for accounting clerk role).
• Proficiency in using ERP system and MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft D365.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and error-free calculations.
• Manage tasks effectively and prioritize with ease.
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate effectively while paying close attention to detail.
• Be self-motivated and embrace responsibility.
