- Responsible for the entire project procurement activities from project planning to implementation of analysis, cost benchmarking, strategic sourcing, scheduling, and supply chain risk mitigation.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (R&D, marketing, production & project manager) on NPD/improvement projects, to ensure all items are sourced, produced, delivered on time, meet quality standards, and are within budget.
- Ensure compliance with group procurement standards and company policies.
- Liaise with demand/supply planning on purchasing needs for goods, forecast, and schedule the purchases with suppliers to ensure timely delivery & inventory needs.
- Responsible for supplier management; including reviewing all agreements and managing supplier performance and development.
- Cost negotiation with suppliers to meet internal budget and financial expectations to determine the most desirable suppliers.
- Conduct spending and market analysis to provide insight, facilitate quality and cost improvement, and identify new suppliers’ procurement opportunities
- Design and deliver procurement management reports for strategy formulation and drive continuous process improvements
- Propose and implement plans to improve procurement process efficiency
- Lead a small team to organize and manage all daily operations and organize new project development & order fulfillment.
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business Administration or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant managerial experience in sourcing and procurement management. Knowledge of all sorts of packaging materials will be an advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
- Experience in managing a cross-functional team
- Experience in the retail industry is highly preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
- Good knowledge of manufacturing and project management
- Familiar with D365, SAP, or other ERP systems is a plus
- Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAM)
- Professional certification in CIPS, procurement, or supply chain
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, a team player with a positive attitude, high initiative and integrity
