Location: HKEX - TKO Shift: Standard - 40 Hours (Hong Kong SAR) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Worker Type: Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Services Lead / Principal Cloud Services Engineer to join Cloud Services team. Our team responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solution, we also work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. Job Duties: Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of cloud services engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship Develop and implement technical strategies for cloud services, ensuring alignment with HKEX goals and objectives Collaborate with development and other technical teams to integrate cloud services with other systems and platforms Ensure the cloud services' availability, scalability and security Design and implement automated infrastructure such as CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring Design and implement container orchestration platform such as Kubernetes, running on a public cloud and on-premises Monitor and resolve incidents related to cloud infrastructure and services Participate in the design and implementation of new cloud services, and provide technical leadership for projects as needed Provide technical support for cloud services, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues Manage budgets and resources for the cloud services team Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the team Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, including designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions At least 3 years' experience on leading and managing technical teams; Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture and security best practices Knowledge of container orchestration platform such as Kubernetes Knowledge of automation and scripting languages such as Python, Terraform, or Ansible Experience with DevOps practices e.g. CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and monitoring tools Excellent communication with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Experience with cloud cost optimization and cost management strategies Why join us: Gain invaluable working experience in a top tier financial institute Learn and integrate the latest technology and process into HKEX Utilize your talent and expertise to improve our productivity and efficiency Be a part of an elite team that drives world class IT standard Work in a team culture that encourages help, share and learn with each other Company Introduction: Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is one of the world's major exchange groups, and operates a range of equity, commodity, fixed income and currency markets.
