The Role Responsibilities Strategy Advance the development and implementation of the client strategy for the designated portfolio as identified through the Account Planning process Accountability for delivering financial performance objective (revenues and costs) Accountability for all other objectives for the management and development of client relationships, specifically compliance and credit risk Lead the origination and client relationship management for GS clients and prospects, including setting overall client strategy and account plan Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the clients' needs and the markets in which they operate, across footprint market in Asia Active engagement with senior executives within clients. Builds and nurtures relationships over time; recognises and addresses needs Maintain a strong working relationship with Front office, Risk, Legal and Compliance, FCC, COBAM, Operations and other key stakeholders Business Actively identify client needs across full set of SCB product capabilities, originate new business and grow the franchise by capitalising on bank competitive attributes (e.g. international network, product expertise, etc.) Engage senior management and decision makers of key clients to improve the quality of dialogue with clients, promoting a move away from 'transactional' reactive client coverage to consistent value-added partner advisor status. Anticipate clients' needs and provide strategic advice, bringing in the relevant product and industry partners as appropriate Maximise the profitable revenue to the Bank whilst maintaining focus on client outcomes, strengthening and deepening existing relationships, both at the most senior level as well as at the operating level in the clients in the designated portfolio Bring strategic thought and vision as to how the insurance and asset management industry landscape regionally / globally is changing and where areas of international growth lie relevant to the client portfolio Ensure that industry and product knowledge is continually developed Stay abreast and anticipate the developments of the markets in which our clients operate and footprint Processes Drive continuous improvement of the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes to increase the consistency of relevant TB systems and processes Work with direct reports and other stakeholders to support the delivery of TB strategy in a safe and well-controlled manner and on an end-to-end basis - incorporating infrastructure requirements and building a business that is fit-for-growth Work with direct reports and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent product delivery across TB business People & Talent Ensure engagement of frontline staff and mange people issues in partnership with Transaction Banking Risk Management Provide an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing sales in the country and the role each individual plays in managing them Responsible for all aspects of risk (credit, operational) to specific clients in the country Governance Understand the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role Commitment to Group Code of Conduct and act as a role model for Conduct Timely completion of all mandatory e-learning, attestations, compliance requirements and requests for information Fulfil supervisory responsibilities in line with supervisory framework Regulatory & Business Conduct Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct .
