This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships within hedge funds and alternative investment firms. As a Senior Prime Brokerage Sales, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, expanding the firm's client base, and delivering exceptional service to clients in the prime brokerage space. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth within the hedge fund and alternative investment client segment. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional service to meet their needs. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and networking within the industry, attending conferences, and leveraging personal and professional networks. Understand clients' investment strategies, objectives, and operational requirements to tailor prime brokerage solutions and services to meet their specific needs. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, risk management, and operations teams, to develop customized solutions for clients. Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' trading and prime brokerage needs. Conduct presentations, prepare proposals, and negotiate agreements with prospective clients, ensuring alignment with the firm's business objectives and risk appetite. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and client feedback to identify areas for service enhancement and product development. Provide regular updates to senior management on sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and progress against targets. Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are highly desirable. Extensive experience in prime brokerage sales, with a strong focus on hedge funds and alternative investment clients. Proven track record of success in building and managing client relationships, generating new business, and achieving revenue targets. Deep understanding of prime brokerage products and services, including margin financing, securities lending, trade execution, and clearing. Comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund strategies, investment vehicles, and operational requirements. Strong network of contacts within the hedge fund industry, with the ability to leverage relationships to drive business growth. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts and tailor sales messages to different stakeholders. Strategic mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities, develop sales strategies, and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
