My client a securities firm is looking for an equity research analyst to cover 6-8 pharmaceutical and biotech companies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Chinese healthcare industry, including regulatory policies, market trends, and competitive landscape. The candidate should also have a solid foundation in financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting. The responsibilities of the role include: Conducting in-depth research on the assigned companies, including financial analysis, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Building and maintaining financial models for the assigned companies, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Developing and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts, including company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts. Writing research reports and presenting investment recommendations to senior analysts and portfolio managers. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of investment strategies. The ideal candidate should have: A bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Experienced in healthcare or a related field. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques. A passion for the healthcare industry and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
