Job Position Summary
This role runs the finance and accounting function for more than one operating unit across Caravel Maritime (Chartering and Ship Owning) and Caravel Resources.
Key Role and Responsibilities Assist in daily accounting operations including data entry, voucher/ cheque preparation and book keeping etc. Assist in daily bank payments and monitoring bank balances Check inward payments and send out remittances Reconcile bank and intercompany account balances Prepare monthly account receivables and account payables report Assist senior staff in month-end closing Assist in ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications
Education / experience / technical skills required: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance or relevant discipline 1 year or above relevant working experience Excellent command in written and spoken English and Cantonese Candidate familiar with Oracle is preferred
General skills / attributes / other: Accurate and detail oriented Conscientious, professional and committed Self-initiative and self-disclipined Good team-player Strong knowledge of office tools like MS Excel
