About the Role
Responsible for performing general accounting activities to ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of accounting records, and the compliance with accepted accounting standards, AIA group reporting policy and statutory and regulatory requirementsDuties / Accountabilities
- Perform premium settlement and refund
- Perform premium collection and prepare credit control progress reports
- Prepare month end closing vouchers
- Prepare accounts reconciliations and follow up outstanding items
- Assist in regulatory reporting
- Maintain adequate filing system and perform assigned clerical tasks
Competencies
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- System knowledge in AS400 is an advantage
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good interpersonal and communication skill
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Education/Work Experience
- HKCEE/HKDSE or above
- LCCI Third Level or higher professional accounting qualification
- At least 1 year of work experience in accounting
- More experience will be considered Accounting Analyst
