About the Financial Analyst Talent Programme
The DFI Financial Analyst Talent Programme is rotational by nature where Financial Analysts are given the opportunity to rotate in different departments within the Finance function initially over a 2 to 3 year time period. The objective of this programme is to develop high potential early talent through providing exposure to high-impact financial projects and initiatives and to gain deeper understanding of DFI businesses.
Programme Highlights: Hands-on exposure to wide range of high-impact financial projects, and to support the implementation of projects in key finance teams, such as Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Store Operations, Digital, Corporate Finance and other related business areas Store attachment experience to understand DFI business fundamentals and operations Technical and soft skills training sessions Mentorship from senior leaders to support career development and growth
About the Role: Analyse data, build statistical models and translate quantitative insights into strategic recommendations Conduct commercial and financial reviews; provide advice and assurance to line management on key strategic decisions and reduce financial and operational risks Build and maintain effective working relationships with business teams to drive commercial excellence for sustainable growth via projects in process optimization and organisational change Present informative findings to leadership team on decision-making Support implementation and management of financial projects
About you: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Mathematics/ Data Analytics or related field Recent graduates, or candidates with 1 - 3 years of work experience in business or financial analysis Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills with good commercial sense Excellent communication (verbal and written) in English, interpersonal and presentation skills A keen eye for details, curious about the domain of data analytics Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop good working relationships Great teammate, willing to learn and have passion to deliver
