We are looking for an ambitious and driven Account whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Accountant works closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the Finance and Operations to help the businesses make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the company's finances. The core focus of the team is to maintain the financial health of the business, and it's the Account role to take responsibility for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
- Take charge of daily operations of accounting and financial reporting functions ensure accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately for month-end closing.
- Perform daily accounting duties including: bookkeeping, bank reconciliation and the identification of discrepancies. - Prepare Manual Journal Entries for prepayments, deferred income, accruals and intercompany back charge.
- Prepare monthly leases posting in accordance with IFRS 16 and process FA depreciation posting.
- Prepare for month end closing by updating monthly management account and analyse month-to-month financial performance.
- Process vendor’s invoice, utility bill, telco bill, petty cash & etc (ensure all purchases adhere to approval matrix and documents are completed).
- Process payment on a weekly basis and monitor cashflows (vendor payment, payroll, tax and etc). - Process bill run on a monthly basis for recurring invoice & handle daily invoice or member deposit request from ops team.
- Update bi-weekly actual cashflow paid out and forecast for following cycle.
- Update weekly AR report.
- Coordinate with Ops team in updating annual budget.
- Liaise with tax agent for tax filing matters.
- Liaise with auditors in completing year-end audit and collating requested documentation.
- Liaise with banker on bank matters.
- Handle day-to-day collaborations between department (operations, HR, etc). - Perform ad hoc assignments as required.

- A University Degree is an advantage.
- 3+ years of work experience in an Accounting or Finance related field.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Bookkeeping knowledge.
- Previous experience in online accounting software such as Xero is an advantage.
- A good team player.
- Good business acumen.
- Prior experience in coworking, real estate, or startup business would be an advantage.
Fluent in English, Cantonese is a plus.
