Our client is a Chinese law firm specialising in corporate and commercial solutions globally. The teams of lawyers work closely with clients to deliver the legal know-how and strategic alignment. Currently, they are seeking for an Accountant to cope with their future business development plan.
DescriptionManage and oversee all client billing, account receivables, and credit control matters.Prepare, draft and edit bills in accordance to Partner and Fee earner's requests.Follow up with fee earners on outstanding Work in Process, to ensure the timely preparation and finalisation of bills to meet deadlines.Liaise with legal secretaries and fee earners on special billing arrangements to ensure accuracy of billing amounts.Cross check and verify accuracy of billing calculation before sending to clients.Work with regional finance team on financial mattersGenerate and analyse monthly aging reports to identify delinquent accounts.
ProfileAt least 3 years of Billing & Credit Control experience, preferably in legal or professional services industries.Proficient in both spoken and written English. Fluent in spoken Chinese is preferred.Strong effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal stakeholders and clients professionally.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.Analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve billing discrepancies and credit issues.Willingness to learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices in billing and credit control.
