Your new companyThe corporate bank is seeking for a Manager for Business Planning and Analysis. This role will be responsible for leading strategic business planning, financial forecasting, and analytical support to drive business growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing business trends, monitoring financial performance, and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process of the bank.
Your new roleAnalyse business trends, monitoring financial performance, and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting process of the bank.Responsible for preparing regular and ad hoc financial analysis / MIS reports to facilitate business planning, reviewing the MIS infrastructure regularly, and performing necessary changes as requested by management.Assist in budgeting and forecasting process of wholesale banking including budget plan, materials preparation, and communications within the business unit and with supporting units.Prepare regular and ad hoc financial analysis / MIS reports to facilitate business planning.Support the development of strategic business plans for the bank and monitor the performance with relevant stakeholders.Assist in streamlining the reporting process and automating manual Excel-based MIS reports into SAS platform to provide up-to-date information for management.Design and prepare performance evaluation/monitoring reports for senior management and implement and maintain data systems on pipeline movements, forecasts, and cater to ad hoc reports for senior management.Implement and maintain financial tracking mechanism and ensure accounting compliance to regulatory authorities and auditors.
What you'll need to succeedBachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in business planning, financial analysis, or related field.Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large business data sets.Proficiency in excel and VBA programming preferred.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and wholesale banking products are preferred.Proficient in Spoken and Written English and Chinese Cantonese and Mandarin.Proven track record of Chinese words and reports processing.
