We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market (Traded) Risk Senior Manager / Vice President to join our esteemed organisation. As a Senior Manager / Vice President, you will play a crucial role in managing and monitoring traded risk exposures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall risk management framework of our bank. Your new role
Conduct in-depth analysis and assessment of traded risk exposures across global markets, including fixed income, equities, derivatives, and commodities.
Monitor and report on market risk metrics, such as Value-at-Risk (Var) and stress testing, to identify potential risk areas and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and risk control functions to ensure effective risk management practices and adherence to risk limits.
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices related to market risk management.
Assist in the development and enhancement of market risk methodologies, models, and systems.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and risk committees on market risk profiles, trends, and potential areas of concern.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
8+ years of relevant experience in market risk management, preferably within a bank.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, products, and risk management principles.
Proficiency in market risk measurement techniques, such as Var, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines related to market risk.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex risk concepts effectively.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and assess potential risk areas.
Proficient in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and English.
