We are helping a multinational retail company to look for a (Senior) Finance Manager. They are looking for candidates with all rounded accounting and finance experience from any retail/ FMCG/ wholesale industry.
The Role
- Responsible for handling all aspects of accounting, including tasks such as preparing month-end closing entries, reconciling balance sheets, and maintaining accounting schedules.
- Responsible for reconciling inventory and managing capital expenditures.
- Updating and managing lease data and performing lease accounting entries.
- Preparing monthly reports for the group, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and analytical reviews.
- Ensuring that month-end reporting is completed accurately and on time.
- Ensuring compliance with group accounting policies, internal control guidelines, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Overseeing the work of Accountants in tasks such as managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, handling intercompany transactions, and reconciling bank statements.
- Collaborating closely with the local finance team to support accounting-related matters.
- Independently managing the statutory audit and tax filing processes.
- Performing additional analysis or projects as assigned.
