Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable APIs and EDI solutions, adhering to industry standards and best practices. Conduct system assessments to evaluate and recommend improvements to existing integrations. Perform data mapping and develop transformation scripts to facilitate accurate data exchange between systems. Troubleshoot and resolve API and EDI-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Monitor and report on API and EDI performance metrics, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement. Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in API and EDI implementations. Collaborate with internal and external teams to establish and maintain effective data exchange partnerships. Stay updated on emerging API and EDI trends, technologies, and industry standards, recommending relevant improvements. Document API and EDI integration processes, configurations, and maintenance procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 3+ years of experience working as an API/EDI System Analyst in the logistics industry. Strong expertise in API and EDI protocols, such as REST, SOAP, AS2, EDIFACT, and ANSI X12. Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python) and data interchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML). Solid understanding of integration patterns, message queuing, and middleware technologies. Experience with API management platforms, such as Apigee, Mulesoft, or similar. Proven ability to analyze complex systems and develop creative solutions to optimize performance. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams, effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
