About the Role

Product Development:
• Propose multi-asset fund solutions to grow AIAHK’s investment-linked and pension business.

Product Management & Coordination:
• Coordinate internal departments and external parties in relation to the development and ongoing management of AIMHK’s fund products.

Product Communication & Advisory:
• Represent AIMHK to communicate fund product features to internal agents, external brokers and end-customers.

Product Intelligence:
• Act as a specialized source of market intelligence on competitors’ product feature and fund performance as well as trends of new product development.

Stakeholder Management:
• Establish good rapport with stakeholders within AIA Group, including AIAHK (e.g. investment, ILAS & MPF teams), Group Investment (e.g. TAA & GULPB) and AIAIM in Singapore.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Product Development

  • Propose and develop multi-asset fund solutions to grow AIAHK’s investment-linked and pension business through partnering with AIAHK’s MPF & ILAS teams as well as Group Investment’s Unit-linked and Pension Business team in Singapore.
  • Draft and present fund product proposal to enhance AIMHK product range and competitiveness. 

Product Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate internal departments and external parties in relation to the development and ongoing management of AIMHK’s fund products.
  • Act as a de-facto project manager to plan, manage and coordinate new fund launching as well as existing fund revamping processes.

Product Communication & Advisory

  • Represent AIMHK to communicate fund product features to internal agents, external brokers and end-customers through face-to-face meetings and virtual media.
  • Lead the development of AIMHK's product brochure, fund factsheet, investment-related marketing collateral & training materials.

Product Intelligence

  • Act as a specialized source of market intelligence on competitors’ product feature and fund performance as well as trends of new product development.
  • Compile and analyze market intelligence on competitors' product positioning and features.  Update senior members of AIMHK and other stakeholders of AIAHK on the development of fund industry's competitive landscape. 

Stakeholder Management

  • Establish good rapport with stakeholders within AIA Group, including AIAHK (e.g. ILAS & MPF teams), Group Investment (e.g. GULPB) and AIAIM in Singapore. 
  • Provide investment fund related supports to the AIAT and ILAS teams of AIAHK. 

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • At least 15 years of experience in fund product development, investment research, asset management and/or investment advisory.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Economics or business-related subjects.
  • Investment-related professional qualification (e.g. CFA or CAIA).
  • Holders of SFC license 1, 4 or 9.
  • Good understanding of MPF and SFC fund-related regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of retail financial markets and wealth management products.
  • Strong presentation and report-writing skills.  Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
  • Ability to translate competitive landscape of fund industry into AIMHK’s business strategy and product positioning.
  • Good team player with strong coordination skills to work with colleagues from various cultural background.
  • In-depth understanding of fund analytic tools such as Morningstar, Bloomberg and/or Lipper.
  • Experience in managing project-based works.
