Research Scientist
Opportunities
You will be involved in the planning and execution of pharmaceutical development programs for innovative products for the company, and working with a team of professionals to develop platform technology for the company. You will also acquire understanding of the scientific knowledge and technical know-how required for pharmaceutical advanced formulation technology. You will build up strength in the competitive environment of local and global pharmaceutical industries.
Job Duties:
- Research based position to participate in company’s innovative oral care projects.
- Develop innovative formulation technology know-how of the company.
- Perform formulation physical characterization and biological evaluation of prototypes. Manage user trial of selected prototype.
- Perform scientific literature search to support marketing activities.
- Manage experimental data, compile reports and prepare presentation.
- Manage contract research projects with local Universities.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Candidates with less experiences will be considered as Research Associate.
Job Requirements:
- PhD or Master’s degree or above in Dental Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
- Hand-on experiences in oral care formulations are required.
- Research experiences in formulation of nano-materials and bacterial assay are highly preferred.
- Possess a can-do attitude, eager to learn new skills, positive mind-set, team spirit and strong problem solving skills.
