We are looking for a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Group Finance in managing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly consolidation process and conduct analysis.
- Ensure compliance of financial reports with relevant accounting standards and Group policies.
- Oversee and reconcile intercompany accounts, promptly addressing discrepancies.
- Participate in month-end and year-end close processes to meet reporting timelines.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure data accuracy and consolidation activities during closing.
- Monitor compliance with evolving accounting regulations and Group accounting policies.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial reporting.
- Contribute to special projects, and initiatives focused on process enhancement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA or equivalent highly preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, experience in Big 4 or listed company is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, particularly IFRS.
- Experienced in financial and management reporting, and group consolidation.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365) and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with various stakeholders including auditors and senior management.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, international, and non-hierarchical organizational culture.
