What you need to do
- Lead User Research and Testing:
- Conduct in-depth user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors.
- Leverage insights to prioritize and validate design decisions.
- Conceptualization and Brainstorming:
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define our groundbreaking products' vision, strategy, and goals.
- Brainstorm and develop innovative design ideas that enhance user engagement.
- User Interface Design:
- Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Design intuitive, engaging user interfaces optimized for target devices.
- Trust Building and Security:
- Understand that users entrust financial apps with control over their finances. Prioritize building trust through design.
- Ensure products follow inclusion and accessibility principles.
- Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, product managers, engineers, and developers.
- Lead design discussions, mentor junior designers, and drive design excellence.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role in the financial or FinTech industry.
- Portfolio of design projects showcasing wireframing, prototyping, and interactive design skills.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Sketch, InVision Studio, and Proto.io.
- User-Centric Mindset:
- Understand user behavior and balance user-friendliness with necessary friction.
- Prioritize security and reliability in financial interactions.
- Communication and Leadership:
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to inspire and guide others toward design excellence.
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
