Our client a Import Export company is looking to hire Electronic Merchandiser.
- Responsible for category (Electrical and Electronic products) sourcing activity, including searching for new products and new suppliers, quality and price comparison, sample comparison, price negotiation, and factory evaluation.
- Responsible for project execution with milestone control and effective time management.
- Guide and monitor the order follow-up process, including working with OTS (Order Tracking System) to accept orders and control delivery times.
- Manage project documentation and filing.
- Manage the supply chain, including supplier search, screening, and identification of potential suppliers. Monitor supplier performance.
- Independently arrange and implement buying trips, including contacting suppliers or vendors to arrange schedules, coordinating with suppliers and buyers, accompanying buying trips, and preparing trip reports.
- Negotiate with suppliers on price review and control, as well as claim settlement.
- working closely with both suppliers and manufacturers
- Diploma or above with 5+ years of independent Merchandising/ product sourcing experience in a trading company or buying office.
- Experience in handling Electronic related products and knowledge
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and project management skills, with the ability to work independently on projects.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in English
- Solid PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
