Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Project Manager to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment between technical execution and business objectives.
- Lead the development team of web applications, ensuring high-quality code and user experiences across the front-end and back-end.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust RESTful APIs that meet the needs of the application and its users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope and timelines while translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
- Manage database design and implementation, demonstrating proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in security, documentation, and application architecture.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline development workflows.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to foster innovation and improvement within the development team.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support in their professional growth.
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Strong experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby, and familiarity with frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js for front-end development.
- Proficiency in back-end technologies, including Node.js, Express, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with database management systems, both SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firebase).
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment preferred.
- Prior experience in the healthcare or dental technology fields is a plus.
