About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Director/VP of Product Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team, driving the development of innovative digital products and optimizing our D2C e-commerce platforms. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape the technical vision and roadmap, manage cross-functional collaborations, and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary remote team of developers, engineers, and technical specialists.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration to ensure the seamless delivery of projects.
Digital Product Strategy
- Drive the development and optimization of digital products to enhance customer experience, improve conversion rates, and support business growth.
E-commerce Expertise
- Oversee the development and performance of our e-commerce platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and an excellent user experience.
Data Analytics and Growth Metrics
- Build and maintain robust analytics infrastructure to track and optimize growth marketing metrics, customer behaviors, and website performance.
Engineering Excellence
- Champion best practices in software development, including code quality, scalability, security, and performance.
- Rapidly identify and resolve technical challenges to maintain smooth operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, marketing, and growth teams to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
Technology Roadmap
- Define and execute a clear technology roadmap to achieve business goals and accelerate growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in engineering and technology within high-growth D2C or e-commerce businesses.
- Strong understanding of consumer-facing digital products and experience scaling platforms for global audiences.
- Expertise in analytics tools, with a strong grasp of growth marketing metrics.
- Demonstrated ability to architect and oversee complex e-commerce systems.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a knack for motivating teams and driving results.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Your Technical Skills
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Node.js, TypeScript preferred).
- Familiarity with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, and AWS.
- Understanding of BDD/TDD, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, OOP, and functional programming.
