The Role

As Head of Marketing and PR, you’ll be an inspiring leader and formidable marketeer tasked with the extraordinary opportunity of driving forward our business’ ambitious evolution. Key Responsibilities
- Create, shape and execute a strategic Marketing and Communications plan for Hong Kong & Macau
- Act as the guardian for the brand equity in the markets
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships to foster #1 status with our key partners, while delivering innovative, best-in-class campaigns
- Lead the marketing team in creating and developing the marketing communications strategy for the brand with key focus on Digital engagement and Communications
- Lead strategies and exceptional PR & Advocacy plans that can be executed globally, with local nuances, to grow brand awareness of Charlotte amongst targeted audiences
- Drive Both Marketing & PR objectives to deliver record breaking launch activity for each new launch (product or region)
- Create and manage communication strategies and plans to support brand portfolio and NPD, driving brand pillars and delivering on key brand objectives
- Propose launch plans for key NPD activity and marketing campaigns
- Deliver plans for securing and utilising celebrity and digital influencer credentials
- Guide local teams to develop and secure consistent, regular, quality and on-Brand advocacy (print, .com, broadcast and social) across all key advocacy outlets with key focus on ROI
- Work closely with global team to translate the Global Charlotte Tilbury Magic to local markets
- Analyse and monitor of competitor activities within the responsible markets and develop unique marketing propositions to lead vs competitors
- Be the expert for beauty products and provide the corporate team with what is needed to win in the region
- Maximise and exploit local marketing opportunities

- This role reports into the Brand Director, HK & Macau & Travel Retail APAC
Key Selection Criteria
- More than 8 years in marketing position within beauty, FMCG or retail is desirable
- The successful candidate will be a well-rounded, highly impactful marketing leader, who brings a proven track record of success within the beauty industry
- Strategic and Innovative – Will constantly seek new and bold ways to be ahead of the curve in marketing. Will be motivated to crack industry firsts that will add significant competitive advantage to the business.
- Consumer-Centric and Customer Experience-Focused - Experienced in creating marketing stories that reflect the customer journey. Passionate about Communication and Digital Engagement. Social media native – deep understanding in particular of Instagram, LRB, Tiktok
- Communication Skills - Will be an exceptional communicator and influencer, able to articulate a compelling vision and bring people with them. Will be effective at cross-functional stakeholder management, and a strong and credible contributor to team decision-making. Will excel at synthesising information and communicating actions clearly
- Analytical, Data-Driven and Commercial – Will have solid business acumen and a metrics led approach that ensures marketing has the required impact on the organisation across awareness, utilisation, lifetime value, etc. Will be able to cite examples of ROI-positive activities across the whole marketing mix
- People Leadership – Will be an outstanding leader. Will have a proven track record in attracting, managing and developing outstanding talent. Will be a natural mentor and coach, passionate about individual and team development.
