About the Role
We're now looking for a driven and charismatic Floor Manager to join The Optimist, our our iconic, Barcelona-inspired Northern Spanish grill on Hennessy Road.
As a Floor Manager, you will oversee, lead, and help to coordinate the planning, organising, and training necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality and cleanliness.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, will have 3 to 5 years of experience in the food & beverage industry, and a minimum of one year experience as an assistant manager in a highly regarded restaurant, be hands-on, and enjoy being guest-facing.

- At least 3+ years experience in the hospitality industry
- A minimum of 1 year experience as assistant manager
- Possess a passion for contemporary Spanish Cuisine
- Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset
- Sense of responsibility within your role
- Fluency in English is a must; other languages are advantageous
