About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Data Manager to lead our data management in the dynamic fintech industry. As a Data Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring data integrity, quality, and security within the organization. Your work will bridge the gap between business users and IT professionals, advocating for best practices in data management while understanding different departments' unique needs and priorities.

• Data Governance and Policy Enforcement:
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.

• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability
• Implement data quality assessment processes, identify anomalies or discrepancies, and coordinate efforts to rectify issues and improve overall quality 
• Data Access and Security Management:

• Oversee throughout the lifecycle of data, from creation or archival or deletion

• University Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science or related discipline 

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in data or project management, preferably in the banking or FinTech field 
• Experience in driving the implementation of enterprise master data strategies. Knowledgeable about data governance practices, business and technology matters related to enterprise data management 
• Open-minded and self-motivated team player with a "can-do" attitude

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to oversee all legal matters and ensure compliance with the legal updates and obligations of a listed company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dealing with the legal requirements of a publicly traded company, preferably on NASDAQ, and possess a deep understanding of corporate law, securities regulation, and corporate governance. Less experienced candidates would be considered for the Senior Legal Counsel role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of corporate, securities, and regulatory matters related to the company’s status as a NASDAQ-listed entity.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable securities laws, regulations, and reporting requirements, including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, SEC filings, and NASDAQ listing rules.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of periodic reports, proxy statements, and other SEC filings.
• Advise on corporate governance best practices and assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and ensure timely and effective communication of relevant updates to the executive team and board of directors.
• Provide legal support for corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other strategic initiatives.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Manage and coordinate with external legal counsel on various legal matters.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on legal and regulatory compliance.
• Support the board of directors and executive team with legal and strategic advice on corporate matters.
• Oversee company secretarial matters.
• Manage the employee share incentive plan, including overseeing the ESOP platform, grant letters, and arranging for issuances
• Manage the IP portfolio, including trademarks and patents
• Engage with relevant product/business units to support the legal aspects of product/service launches.

• LLB, or Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in a common law jurisdiction, such as Hong Kong or England, Malaysia. A big plus for candidates with US Bar.
• A minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a publicly traded company, preferably on NASDAQ or NYSE.
• In-depth knowledge of securities laws, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in preparing and submitting exchange filings and reports, especially SEC filings and reports.
• Strong understanding of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other strategic initiatives.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
• Experience with handling regional legal matters

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the health sciences or biotechnology industry.

What you will do:

Retention Strategy Development:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive product-led retention strategy aligned with the company’s business goals.

Data-Driven Insights:

• Analyze user behavior data to identify trends, pain points, and opportunities for improving retention.
• Utilize limited data points to delve deeply and formulate hypotheses on potential problems.

Product Optimization:

• Collaborate with product management and UX/UI teams to enhance product features that drive user engagement and retention.
• Use data and customer feedback to highlight high ROI improvements to the product team.

Customer Onboarding and Engagement:

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Reporting and Metrics:

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer retention and product usage.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in program management, product management, customer success, data analytics or a related field, with a focus on retention strategies in a tech environment. Experience in SaaS is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, A/B testing, and metrics tracking.
