Job Description
You will be responsible for the project management and installation functions of all Modification projects secured by Service Department. The candidate needs to ensure that the installation works are being carried out in accordance with relevant contract specifications and in compliance with company requirements so as to support Service Department in meeting the related business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop objectives, operations strategies & targets for Modernization (MOD) works
- Manage and lead the MOD project team and ensure the MOD installation work complies with code requirements & Otis standards
- Oversee all aspects of the project management systems from quality, safety and cost
- Manage full project life cycle from site intake to handover including preparation and reviewing project program, schedule of milestones, resources planning, site safety and quality
- Responsible for overall safety management for the project through planning, site audit and inspection etc.
- Liaise with factory to resolve any on-site technical issue
- Attend the project meetings, safety meetings and site meetings as assigned by customers
- Optimize the resources to achieve or over the secured margin
- Explore cost control opportunities on MOD installation process & vendor management
- Assist vendor selection process and monitor vendor performance
- Render assistance on MOD installation and participate in Sales negotiation for service branches when necessary
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Bachelor of Engineering, in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical discipline or equivalent
- Have at least 12 years solid project management experience and prefer in large-scale project with prestige customers
- Experience in lifts & escalators industry and service sales activities
- Experience in supervising project operations & cost control
- Have in-depth knowledge of Hong Kong statutory and building related regulation and the associated Code & product knowledge
- Candidate with less experience could be considered for Project Manager
