About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in project management to join our team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our trade finance products. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to deliver innovative and market-leading solutions. What you need to do

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps in alignment with the company's vision and objectives.
• Collaborate with the IT team to define product features, user interfaces, and user experiences that enhance customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
• Prioritise product features and enhancements based on business goals, customer feedback, and resource constraints.
• Create, maintain, and update comprehensive product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and release notes.
• Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of product milestones, effectively managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct user acceptance testing, gather feedback, and iterate on product functionality and usability to enhance the overall user experience.
• Review, monitor, and implement projects, ensuring all parties are accountable for deliverables and facilitating timely project execution.
• Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates and ensure a shared understanding and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyse business and user requirements, propose solutions, and create detailed design specifications to guide product development.
• Coordinate project schedules, manage project meetings, and proactively identify and resolve technical problems to ensure smooth project execution.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Information Technology or related disciplines.
• Ideally, 3-5 years of relevant experience in product management or related roles.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager with a background in project management.
• Strong technical background, with knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Experience in the finance or fintech industry, preferably with exposure to trade finance products.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product decisions.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality products within specified timelines.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility in managing changing priorities.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese languages to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and experienced product manager for our innovative trade finance product development. You will be responsible for designing new financing products in the e-Commerce landscape, keep iterative features enhancement for existing products. To become the fast mover in the marketplace, delivering innovative FinTech products.

What you need to do

• Take ownership of the product development process, from ideation, product development to executing and managing the products
• Lead the workflow design and business requirements gathering process to collect and analyze requirements
• Analyse functional requirements, identify constraints/risks and translate into technical solutions
• Design and prepare related documentation, i.e. product requirement document, functional design specification, business workflow manual and user manual, etc
• Participate in system testing, post-launch user training and product marketing material
• Serve as a subject matter expert within key business and supporting processes and systems
• Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure deliverables under product governance

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business Management, Finance, Information Technology and related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years of trade finance products development experience, or relevant experience in banking, FinTech or eCommerce industry.
• Good communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in customer handling will be an advantage
• Strong entrepreneurial streak with a blend of technical and business savviness
• Digitally savvy with a mature mentality in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Innovative, self-motivated, business value-oriented and be a good team player
• Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin will be an advantage.

Job Purpose:
 

The Product Manager has overall responsibility for achieving the sales and profit targets for the related product groups and creating the highest return for both TD SYNNEX and the vendor. While responsible for revenue outcomes, this is a sales enablement position. This will be achieved through marketing programs, sales training, sales support, technical pre-sales support, vendor contract and vendor relationship. These activities, especially sales and marketing are targeted at both the TD SYNNEX extended sales team and the partner community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in creation and execution of business plans for the vendor product group and associated services that achieve agreed vendor revenue targets, including business forecasting and business planning for product groups with vendors.

• Implementation of sales enablement programs for TD SYNNEX and partners and carry out marketing programs to support product group objectives.

• Developing an understanding of markets, customers’ needs and competition.

• Assist in designing effective planning, including inventory turns, inventory fulfilment and inventory obsolescence minimization.

• Provision of various reports for the purposes of commercial decision making.

• Maintenance and development of operational level vendor relationships, ensuring highest and continuously improving levels of vendor and partner satisfaction

• Support to ensure the sales team is performing at optimum levels for the relevant product group. This will require a close working relationship with the Channels Sales Team.

• In order to execute product leadership it will be necessary to maintain knowledge of sales processes, proposals, pipeline management, partner engagement so that remedial actions can be recommended where necessary.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• >3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience is required.

• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Marketing/Business Studies/Engineering or other relevant course of study or Equivalent
