About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee valuation, experience studies, business plan, budget, statutory regulatory reporting, investment policy & investment decisions;
• Lead implementation of the International Financial Reporting Standards;
• Lead implementation of Risk Based Capital regime;
• Oversee asset-liability management, investment policy & investment decisions, business plan, budget;
• Provide and develop solutions/strategies (reinsurance services, group business, direct marketing, bancassurance, full/simplified underwriting products, underwriting services/software) to facilitate distribution channels to attract new business;
• Drive learning culture and people development in the Actuarial Department

Job Requirement

• Qualified Actuary or equivalent
• Over 10 years of experience
• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics. Master's degree preferred.
• Experience on General insurance, HK RBC, IFRS 17
• Strategic thinking and good problem solving skill
• Leadership & Teamwork Orientation
• Strong Communication skills across all spectrums
• Effective project management skill
• Development and Learning Orientation

About the Role

Duties / Accountabilities

• Ensure customer service standards in terms of timeliness and accuracy of policy services are met, with effective disposition of internal/external client inquires and service needs.
• Contribute on the system specifications and development in enhancing the efficiency and quality of policy services.
• Support supervisor to devise and implement efficient policy administration procedures and workflow that enable straight through process from policy application and alteration request to back end system process.
• Support supervisor to devise and implement effective internal control procedures and manuals throughout the entire policy administration workflows to ensure compliance requirements are met and fulfilled.
• Train up subordinates adhere to service standards, instructions and best practice.

Job Requirement

• University graduate or above
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• 7 years relevant working experience with minimum 3 years at managerial level
• CII / ANZIIF qualification preferred
• Excellent PC knowledge (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• In-depth knowledge of General Insurance products and policy administration operation
• Planning and organizing skills
• Communication skill with both internal and external customers
• Leadership and coaching skills
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Customer satisfaction oriented mindset

About the Role

Duties / Accountabilities:

• Handle new and renewal policy administration, policy alteration within Company’s service standard;
• Act in accordance with the operation manual or guideline and conform to regulatory compliance;
• Co-ordinate and work with other departments to perform daily policy administrative work;
• Support supervisors to cater for daily operational needs and business requirements as deemed required and necessary;
• Support ad-hoc projects assigned, including system enhancement programs, policy structure setup and policy document revamp; and
• Handle inquiries from internal staff, customer service and business partners.

Requirement

• Diploma graduate or above;
• Minimum 3 years’ prior experience in policy administration will be preferably;
• Basic insurance product and policy administration knowledge
• Able to work under pressure
• Good written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficiency in PC skills, Word and Excel a must
• Data entry skills including Chinese typing
• Good customer servicing skills
• Attend to details
