Position Summary
Hex Trust is looking to add an Analyst in Procurement & Vendor Management to the Finance team. In this role, you will manage the procurement process, ensuring consistent and compliant purchasing operations while maintaining strong relationships with our vendors & suppliers. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll ensure the best value for money and compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and ongoing vendor relationship management
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and quality of products or services
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve optimal pricing and service levels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement strategies and initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and vendor contracts
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or disputes that may arise
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement function
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement and vendor management; experience from the financial services or technology industries would be a plus
- Good understanding of procurement best practices and relevant regulations
- Strong & confident negotiation and contract management skills
- Experience and proficiency with procurement software and tools in addition to the usual work-suite tools (Word Processing, Presentations & Spreadsheets)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
