Our client a leading Jewellery company in Hong Kong looking to hire International Jewellery Director and Purchasing Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the jewellery production cycle include but not limited to work closely with jewellery factory in Hong Kong and China for the entire products, costing, sample follow up, inventory control, follow-up purchasing order and quality control, etc;

• Responsible for the entire merchandising process.

• Managing the purchase of diamonds and gold.

• Develop Marketing Strategies.

• Prepare trend and analytical reports to our management.

• Monitor overall product development process and to ensure on time deliveries.

• Execute product administration.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Staff Recruitment.

• Coordinating with Overseas Office in USA and India.

• Liaison and negotiation with suppliers in Hong Kong.
• Extensive knowledge of diamonds, GIA, IGI certified stones.

• Strong Knowledge in Gold / Diamond / Jade / Gem Stone / Semi-Precious Stone.
• End to End experience in Jewellery Production – taking orders from clients in USA, sourcing the diamonds and gold and get the jewelry manufactured in Hong Kong or China.
• Possess 20 years’ product planning experience, those with solid merchandising experience in jewellery field.
• At least 15 years purchasing experience in purchase precious diamonds.
• Experience in sourcing, sample development and production.
• A self-starter with strong analytical and organization skills.
• Strong fashion sense with exposures in 24K gold & fine jewellery preferred.
• Liasing with diamond suppliers in India.
• Lead an experienced team of gemologists and diamonds associates on providing non-biased advice to individual and institutional investors on building and expanding their diamond investment portfolios.
• Professional advice on the investment of high quality diamonds (1 to 30 carats) as an alternate investment to individual and institutional investors.
• educating and helping individual clients to select their ideal diamond and custom make their own jewelleries (engagement rings, wedding bands.

What you will do

This person will join the CONTROLS sales team in Hong Kong. She/he will help to develop new business opportunities, achieve yearly sales target, and build a network of industry contacts and influencers to act as a source for leads to meet and exceed customer requirements as well as to and attain or exceed company growth objectives.

• Explore and develop new customer base with such Facilities Management, Property Developer,
• Grow Building Solution business, meet and exceed sales plan
• Provide professional best fit Enterprise Solutions to our client to facilitate environmental friendly systems
• Maintain a partnership relationship with customers for the best service and solution.
• Participate in sales team for pre-sales activities and design energy saving solution
• Coordinate and monitor the project progress with different department and contractors

What we look for

Required

• Degree holder or above in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• With minimum 6 years sales experience with a good proven track record in selling Enterprise Solutions
• Solid experience in managing and promote Enterprise Solutions such as BMS, Surveillance system, Access Control , IOT , Digitalization
• Excellent negotiation and sales planning technique
• Good in project planning, communication and leadership skills and able to meet tight deadline
• Positive, passionate and supportive attitude
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English & Mandarin is a plus
• Excellent writing skill and submit report or document timely
• Able to handle and solve problems independently.
• Highly adaptable and result driven
• Highly commercial and entrepreneurial
• Self motivated with strong initiative to meet and exceed sales plan
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Sales Engineer

Preferred

• Experience in building solution / Cloud service solution related industry would be an advantage
• Self-motivated, hardworking and positive 
• Strong interpersonal, presentation skills in public
• Good spoken and written in English and Chinese
