Our client, a well-established insurance company operating in the Asia-Pacific region, focuses on delivering general insurance solutions while emphasizing exceptional customer service and robust risk management practices. In line with their expansion plans, they are actively seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities Drive business growth by acquiring new clients through local brokers/intermediaries and meeting sales targets. Present and promote the company's product range to brokers/intermediaries, fostering their development within the organization. Deliver top-notch insurance proposals and ensure exceptional customer service. Nurture and sustain robust relationships with intermediaries through frequent visits, optimizing business prospects. Establish and enforce efficient credit control procedures for premium collection and account reconciliation.
Requirements: Hold a university degree in Insurance or a related field, preferably with ANZIIF (Sr. Associate) qualifications or equivalent. Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in general insurance. Strong network and connections with local brokers and agencies. In-depth product knowledge in general insurance, including non-auto underwriting experience, and a proven ability to drive business results. Proactive with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Self-motivated with a strong business acumen. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese languages.
