Position Summary

As the Product Manager - Markets, your primary responsibility is to deliver robust, technology-driven, and feature-rich software applications for Hex Trust's Markets business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and implement solutions in areas such as eTrading, OTC trading, Risk Management, and Trade Settlement Optimization. This role is critical in driving the success of our Markets products and ensuring alignment with business and client needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

Product Development & Documentation:

Perform ongoing reviews of business requirements and processes for Hex Trust's Markets products.
Coordinate with Product, Technology, and UX teams to create and maintain documentation, including Product Requirements Documents, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Test Cases.
Support UAT, implementation, and user training as needed.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize feature implementation based on effort estimations and expected value.
Gather, validate, and document requirements from investors and stakeholders.

Market Research & Analysis:

Conduct market research on competitor features and industry trends.
Perform data analyses to support business decisions and product strategy.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in financial services, particularly digital assets.
Proven expertise in cryptocurrency trading, DeFi, and mainstream digital assets.
Strong focus on delivering exceptional User Experience for institutional clients.
Solid understanding of trade lifecycles, challenges, and trade-offs.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of financial products like derivatives (perpetual swaps, dated futures, options).
Experience working in start-up environments with an Agile mentality.

About the job

To support the rapid growth at Hex Trust, we are seeking suitable candidates to join us in the position of VP, Finance. You will be leading in all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, treasury, budget and forecasts preparation. You will be accountable for partnering with the management team in supporting business decisions from a financial perspective and reporting all financial results timely and precisely. You will lead and strengthen the Finance team to cope with increasing levels of scope and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of 3-5 people.
Oversee finance functions including billing & AR, procurement, expenses and payments, and bookkeeping.
Hands on work on consolidation, treasury / bank administration, tax compliance, budgeting and forecasting.
Partner with senior management and department heads in providing financial advice and insights to support business initiatives.
Develop and maintain management reports that provide insightful analysis into the Group’s financial & operational performance.
Ensure financials of the company are presented in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform effective cash flow management to maintain the financial health of the company.
Manage annual budget exercise and establish the process(es) to effectively and efficiently track the performance against approved budgets throughout the year.
Leverage on technology to streamline the finance workflow and enhance operational efficiency.
Establish financial policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control.
Own and manage the relationship with banks, external auditors, and vendors and consultants.
Manage, develop and grow the Finance team, encouraging scalable and sustainable practice that aligns with business requirements as Hex Trust grows.

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or equivalent
5 to 10 years experience in accounting and treasury; experience in the audit space is a plus.
Experience with Xero, our accounting platform would be advantageous.
Experience in treasury and bank admin processes would be advantageous.
Proficient with the Google Suite of applications; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio) is a plus.
Understanding of blockchain is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to present solutions to stakeholders concisely and precisely.
Strong interpersonal skills, a good team player, inquisitive & detail-minded, you will be able to multitask and work under pressure while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
Strong communication skills in spoken & written English are a must, Chinese would be a plus!

Position Summary

Deliver feature-rich, technology-driven, robust and quality software applications and systems. Work closely with the business and tech teams to drive communication, understanding and consent of requirements and acceptance criteria in all aspects of the digital platform and software systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

Perform market research and analysis on competitor/comparable products.
Identifying and designing new products, focusing on the business value provided to clients
Deeply understand client needs via close interactions, whenever possible and with business and client facing teams in HexTrust. Ask probing questions to clients to understand the problem they are trying to solve and their need, even if not explicitly and clearly expressed
Bring new ideas and solutions to the table, become a thought partner to the business teams
Calibrate the trade-off between fulfilling a specific client need vs. making a product that can properly address similar needs of multiple clients. Product vs. tailor made trade-off
Continuously assess current product portfolio on its value proposition to clients and identify areas of improvement early
Define features, write product specifications, facilitate user studies, iterate on feedback, help write test plans with QA, manage the backlog, and ultimately ship products/features in a timely manner.
Create and maintain the team’s roadmap, milestones, and dependencies with strategic priorities in mind.
Prioritize initiatives and projects appropriately and weigh tradeoffs that must be made
Perform the product owner role in agile teams
Define features, write product specifications, facilitate user studies, iterate on feedback, help write test plans with QA, manage the backlog, and ultimately ship products/features in a timely manner.
Manage specific features within a product line; nurture and lead Junior team members.

Ideally candidates should have relevant Product manager experience in range from 3-5 years of experience.
Some experience in trading products is strongly preferred
Some experience with blockchain is strongly preferred
Experience in interacting with B2B clients to understand their needs
Experience in techniques such as focus groups, conjoint analysis would be beneficial. May not necessarily be used in Hex Trust, but will be a valuable background while interacting with clients and business teams, to drive productive conversations
Experience as product owner in agile teams is a valuable plus
A data informed work style, viewed through a compassionate lens of the user
A passion for building delightful customer facing products and experiences
Experience shipping and iterating on successful Software or Financial products at scale

Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Product, Compliance, etc.) to ensure timely and seamless client onboarding.
Respond to inbound client requests and issues via email, chat, and phone, always aiming to exceed expectations.
Provide on-call support for customer issues outside of business hours, demonstrating commitment to client satisfaction.
Advocate for clients internally, using your credibility to promote client feedback and product initiatives.
Enhance processes and increase team efficiency and scalability through proactive improvement projects, including automating, simplifying, and improving daily workflows.

Business Administration, Finance, or a related field degree is preferred
Relevant client-facing internship/work experience, ideally within the crypto or financial services industries.
Confident verbal communication and polished written communication.
Ability to thrive and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving, ambiguous environment with changing business strategies and new products.
Comfort with flexible hours, including weekends, for comprehensive support coverage.
High emotional intelligence and the ability to understand not only what the client is saying, but also their underlying needs.
