Position Summary
As the Product Manager - Markets, your primary responsibility is to deliver robust, technology-driven, and feature-rich software applications for Hex Trust's Markets business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, document, and implement solutions in areas such as eTrading, OTC trading, Risk Management, and Trade Settlement Optimization. This role is critical in driving the success of our Markets products and ensuring alignment with business and client needs.
Duties & Responsibilities
Product Development & Documentation:
- Perform ongoing reviews of business requirements and processes for Hex Trust's Markets products.
- Coordinate with Product, Technology, and UX teams to create and maintain documentation, including Product Requirements Documents, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Test Cases.
- Support UAT, implementation, and user training as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize feature implementation based on effort estimations and expected value.
- Gather, validate, and document requirements from investors and stakeholders.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research on competitor features and industry trends.
- Perform data analyses to support business decisions and product strategy.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in financial services, particularly digital assets.
- Proven expertise in cryptocurrency trading, DeFi, and mainstream digital assets.
- Strong focus on delivering exceptional User Experience for institutional clients.
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycles, challenges, and trade-offs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of financial products like derivatives (perpetual swaps, dated futures, options).
- Experience working in start-up environments with an Agile mentality.
