My client, a global investment bank, is actively seeking a hands on application support engineer to join their expanding prime brokerage technology team, where you will primarily focus on providing trade support to users across APAC as well as EMEA. The role: Primarily providing user support to users across APAC and EMEA securities finance traders and operations staff Offer technical support for the global platform Supporting a 3rd party vendor platform Managing communication of system and application outages to end users as needed Collaborating with colleagues and management to ensure appropriate prioritization Conducting problem research and resolution, including tracking bugs and stability issues affecting the production environment and driving changes to mitigate these issues Assisting with user testing and overseeing the production release cycle Undertaking small development tasks such as ad-hoc user reports or support-remediation tasks Maintaining and enhancing support documentation What you offer: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Ability to prioritize tasks quickly and accurately Good knowledge of SQL, preferably MS SQL Server Exposure to coding or scripting language experience Understanding of securities finance, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area Basic knowledge of networking and storage concepts would be advantageous Excellent communication skills Ability to collaborate with colleagues globally Incentives: Global visibility Join a successful business line that is expanding across APAC Competitive base & discretionary bonus If this is opportunity is of interest to you, kindly send your resume to [email protected].
