Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microbiology Research Assistant with over 5 years of experience in microbiology testing, with prior team management experience. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and conduct and supervise microbiological testing of food, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and pharmaceutical products.

What You'll Do

• Arrange and oversee sampling and testing for various materials, including starting materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
• Review and manage Batch Production Records, various record forms, and test reports to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Conduct and supervise microbiological testing of food, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and pharmaceutical products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality assurance throughout the production process..

Who we’re looking for: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in microbiology testing, with prior team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is essential.
• Background in microbiology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical studies, or related fields is preferred.
• Experience with microbiological testing in food, TCM, and pharmaceuticals is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all facilities repair and maintenance activities at our manufacturing sites. The Senior Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and proper operations of our facilities through regular preventive maintenance planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for managing all facilities repair and maintenance activities at our manufacturing sites.

• Devise and review GMP documents such as various material specifications, SOPs, training materials;
• Review and manage various Batch Production Records, various record forms & test reports;
• Involve in various validation activities, equipment calibration activities and product stability studies;
•  Assist in EM / compressed air and purified water monitoring program

• Having at least 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in chemical analysis of TCM and/or pharmaceuticals, and preferably with microbiological analysis experience.
