The Financial Planning and Analysis Expert will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and operational execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and delivering insightful monthly management reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted financial advisor to senior leadership, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
- Manage the monthly management reporting process, including variance analysis against budget, forecasts, and prior periods, and provide actionable insights on performance.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Perform detailed cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure the company maintains sufficient liquidity and financial flexibility.
- Lead ad-hoc financial projects, analysis, and scenario planning, supporting business initiatives such as fundraising, M&A, new product launches, and market expansion.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making across the business, including revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and ROI assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, legal, product, etc.) to align financial planning with broader business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, financial regulations, and blockchain/crypto market developments, assessing their impact on the company’s financial strategies.
- Prepare presentations for the executive team and board of directors, summarizing financial performance, key insights, and recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with a significant portion in FP&A roles, preferably within the financial services or cryptocurrency sectors.
- Strong proficiency in English and Mandarin with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and management reporting.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, corporate finance principles, and performance metrics.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience using financial planning tools preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and dynamic environment, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets is highly desirable but not mandatory.
