• Work closely with the Chief Strategist to assist in producing investment research presentations (PPTs) and articles；
• Conduct daily maintenance of the strategist’s social media accounts；
• Be responsible for following up on activities related to investment and market growth, including seminars, lectures, and live-streaming events；
• Analyze project-related data to support strategic decision-making；
• Assist in promoting the image of the Strategist team.

• Proficiency in Office software, especially PowerPoint and Excel;
• Familiar with video editing software such as PR and etc.
• Bachelor's degree or above majored in Finance, Fintech, Information technology or other relevant subjects;
• Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese as well as good command of both spoken and written English;
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills;
• Prior internship experience in finance or a social media enthusiast is preferred.

About the Role

Internship Period: 11 June 2024 to 16 August 2024

The purpose of our 10-weeks programme is to provide students, who are passionate in Insurance industry, the opportunity to understand our business through hands-on work experience, projects and programme activities.

What you will learn and develop:

Depending on the suitable development opportunities in Group Internal Audit:

In the Information Technology Audit / Corporate Audit team, you may be involved in:

• Various stages of audit engagements, where appropriate, including audit planning and fieldwork, progress reporting, tracking of management actions and other administrative tasks.
• Supporting the team in meeting GIA’s Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Assurance Review requirements.

In the Professional and Technical Services team, you may be involved in:

• Administration of audit software and other tools and templates adopted widely in GIA.
• Data generation, analysis, and visualisation.
• Preparation of reporting materials to Board Audit Committee and senior management.

In the Data Analytics team, you may be involved in:

• Supporting execution of analytics within GIA.
• Assisting the development data analytical tools/models to suit the overall internal auditing framework, approach and methodology.

You may also be involved in other areas in Group Internal Audit such as staff engagement event coordination and other ad hoc assignments. The opportunity will equip the candidates with better understanding in the internal audit function of a large world leading insurance organisation.

• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
