About the Role

The Assistant Accountant is mainly responsible for assisting the daily accounting operations related to accounts receivable and payable functions and relevant financial transactions, to support accurate financial reporting for our Group.

You will be working in a multi-skilled team, assisting with a wide range of different tasks for our rapidly expanding F&B group

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks including AR, AP, fixed assets and inventory
• Liaise with internal and external parties on receivable and payable related matters
• Assist in handling month end closing reports, audit and tax matters
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Accounting with 1-3 years relevant experience, preferably from Food and Beverage or retail industry
• Well organized with attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Excel
• Bilingual fluency in both written and spoken English and Cantonese is a must
• Candidates with less experience will be offered as Account Clerk
• Immediately available is highly preferred

We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team in Hong Kong. In our small team, you'll handle various financial tasks, providing great learning opportunities.

Your day at this role:

·      Process supplier invoices and prepare payments for the Group.

·      Manage month-end tasks, such as AP closing, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet breakdowns.

·      Improve processes to make them more efficient and error-proof, including project-based work on automation.

Additional responsibilities after trainings:

·      Prepare financial statements for a small portfolio of international companies

·      Analyse and report on the performance of a portfolio of brands

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team in Hong Kong. Given our compact team structure, you will play a pivotal role in managing a variety of financial activities. That provides great opportunities for learning in an international environment.

Your responsibilities include:

- Process supplier invoices and prepare payments for the Group

- Manage a variety of month-end tasks (AP closing, bank reconciliations, balance sheet breakdown, etc.) for the Group

- Improve our processes and make them error-proof (Project-based work on automation, etc.)

Gradually and after training, we will give you additional responsibilities such as:

- Prepare financial statements for a small portfolio of international companies

- Prepare reports and analyze the performance of a portfolio of brands

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
