The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our high-end brands in the digital space. You will be reporting directly to our Managing Director.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms.
• Developing and executing effective marketing strategies to enhance the online visibility of our brands.
• Overseeing content creation and management, including product descriptions, images, and promotional materials.
• Collaborating with external partners, such as digital agencies and technology providers, to support e-commerce initiatives.
• Responding to and managing customer inquiries, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

About the job

Responsible for monitoring the digital asset custody technology stack to ensure the stack is operational 24x7, stable and has sufficient capacity. Provide timely root cause analysis of platform and application incidents, involving the key resources as needed, so we can quickly restore normal operation.

Building out automated solutions for complex operational problems using industry best practice and cloud native technologies. Actively seek out innovative solutions towards operational excellence and coordinate proactively with development, operations, and the wider platform team to improve system availability, security, performance, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous, scalable and robust operation of our production environments. 
• Collaborate closely with the development teams in a fast-paced delivery environment to foster the SRE mindset as part of the software development process. 
• Codify and rollout shared tooling and process/service to enable development teams continuously deliver new features while improving non-functional requirements such as system availability, security, performance, and maintainability. 
• Working with development and DevOps to ensure the appropriate level of component redundancy and infrastructure capacity is in place.
• Proactively analyse events and provide ongoing recommendations to incorporate process improvements to prevent service impacting incidents.
• Manage Level 1 through to Level 3 production support.
  

• 2+ years in SRE or Production Support within experience in the financial industry, or managing business critical systems requiring 99.9% uptime.
• Proven background in hands-on production / application support.
• Expert proficiency in Linux, Shell Scripting, Monitoring and Instrumentation tools.
• Comfortable working with developer tools such as GIT, JIRA and Notion.
• Familiar with Node JS, MariaDB/MySQL and managing automated build/deployment pipelines (e.g. GitLab, Ansible).
• Familiar with Kubernetes clusters
• Strong problem-solving skills and be a confident communicator.
• Ability to work independently and comfortable to tight schedules.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related subjects.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

A successful Cloud Data Engineer must understand our customer’s needs, be well-versed in questions about cloud environments and building digital analytics solutions on the cloud, and be familiar with data engineering on the cloud. The ideal candidate should also be aware of the importance of quality deliverables, respectful of deadlines, and able to articulate the business value of projects as well as technical considerations in clear terms.

• Design and implement data architectures and pipelines for cloud and digital analytics projects on cloud
• Deliver hands-on technical services, such as cloud migration, data migration, data transformation, data warehousing, data visualization, and advanced data analytics
• Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to ensure proper integration of cloud infrastructure and data pipelines across environments
• Streamline and automate processes to ensure the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of digital analytics platform
• Work with our technology partners and the digital analytics team to assist in pre-sales work delivery such as contributing to RFP responses and demos for new project opportunities
• Work with the Global Engineering team to develop and execute POCs for cloud and data projects, showcasing our solutions and demonstrating how they meet customer needs

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related disciplines
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in cloud data platforms on AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese
• Self-motivated, self-organized and strong problem-solving skill
• Experience in microservices and API development with Java and Python
• Knowledge and experience in Big Data, Data Science and Cloud technologies
• Experience in website and application development and tracking
• Professional cloud certification holder (GCP, AWS, and Azure)
• Client facing experience to be presentable and able to translate complex technical concepts into layman language
• Knowledge of version controlling, DevOps practice, containerization, and Agile
