About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices, along with a keen attention to detail. What you need to do:

• Assist in Preparing Financial Statements: Support the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
• Conduct Account Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain Financial Records: Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment records.
• Support Audit Processes: Assist in the preparation of information for internal and external audits, addressing queries and providing necessary documentation.
• Process Transactions: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including processing payments, managing expenses, and tracking income.
• Assist with Tax Compliance: Support the preparation and filing of tax returns and compliance documentation to ensure adherence to company and legal requirements.
• Monitor Expenses: Track and review company expenses, providing analysis and suggestions for cost savings.
• Contribute to Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets by collecting and analysing financial data.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other finance team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely reporting.
• Provide Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks related to finance, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining databases.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance; fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar) is preferred.
• Ability to analyse financial data and prepare reports accurately.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work undertaken.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and financial functions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese to interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to collaborate and support a diverse team.
• Openness to learning new tools, processes, and systems as needed.

• Perform all-around administrative duties to the operation team
• Support and coordinate the daily operations
• Handle general enquiries from internal staff and external customers
• Provide clerical support such as documents filing and data entry
• Prepare the service and inspection report

• Higher Diploma and above

Responsibilities:

• Handle the outstanding balance accounts payment and follow up with customer finance / Account / Procurement departments directly.
• Follow up overdue accounts receivable with both external/ internal customers in resolving disputes and settlement negotiation to facilitate the settlement process.
• Collaborate with internal business units for some special invoice requests by the key accounts.
• Assist with Credit Control Manager to perform the ageing and other required analysis on credit facilities by utilizing Microsoft office applications or Google documents.
• Assist with Credit Control Manager on the data maintenance of the credit control system to help on data accuracy from time to time.
• Handle the general administration works, and ad hoc tasks as required.

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Finance/ Accounting or other related disciplines.
• At least 3 years’ experience in Accounting, where the experience in Account Receivables or Credit Control is a plus.
• Personal encountered in using various accounting systems is an advantage.
• Strong communication, data analysis, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good in Microsoft office, especially in the Excel and Word.
• Independent and adaptable to change.
• Good team player with a good sense of responsibility.
• Self-motivated with positive working attitude, flexible and well-organised.
• Immediate available is preferred.
