This role exists to support Pepperstone’s ambitious growth trajectory as it enhances its product experience across multiple business verticals such as deposit, payment, and trading. As a Senior Experience Designer, you will be instrumental in creating world-class digital experiences that enhance client acquisition, retention, and trade . The role will focus on designing seamless user journeys that empower traders with intuitive, feature-rich platforms across mobile and web, ultimately driving increased trading volumes and enhancing Pepperstone’s position in the global FX and CFD industry and beyond.
Key Position Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Product Manager/Owner and cross-functional team, as an active facilitator and collaborator in the discovery phase of design and definition processes, contributing ideas and applying design thinking to solve problems
- Assist in the development of customer value propositions, business cases and roadmaps
- Synthesise qualitative and quantitative data into informed design decision
- Plan and facilitate user research and usability testing of product prototypes, of varied fidelities, with customers and rapidly translate research findings into design
- Lead other User Experience Designers on a project
- Coach and mentor other User Experience Designers
- Ascertain requirements from a range of stakeholders including business stakeholders, delivery and technical leads, and Product Manager/Owners.
- Create new designs, including (but not limited to), user flows, journey maps, wireframes and prototypes
- Deliver designs for each release by providing production ready assets and supporting the development team through implementation
- Work with engineering colleagues and key stakeholders to ensure brand, style and usability guidelines are adhered to
- Work confidently with Design systems
- Identify opportunities to uplift value from existing solutions/ways of working
- Work with the rest of the team to promote Design Thinking, HCD and good user-experience practice across the company
