Summary

Hex Trust is seeking an Expression of Interest for a Custody, Staking and DeFi position. The persons in this team will primarily work to strategise, shape and bring to life new business products within the areas of digital asset Custody, Staking and DeFi. By working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, it is the key role of the team to launch and measure the success of new products that will position Hex Trust the a leading innovator in the industry.

Department Objective

The objective of the Custody, Staking, and DeFi team is to develop a market-leading suite of products and services that meet clients’ evolving requirements in a competitive and cost-effective manner. This involves analyzing the blockchain industry, market trends, and competitors to position the Hex Trust product suite as a first-to-market, competitive, scalable, and profitable solution. The team also works tactically with Technology, Operations, and clients to find practical solutions for immediate requirements.

Ideally, the new joiner requires an understanding of the Custody, Staking, and DeFi business, the technical aspects of blockchain’s foundations, and a sheer drive to succeed with the team.

Both analytical and creative capabilities are required. This includes working with various parties to identify detailed solutions, prepare proposals, and gain management approval for variations when commercially viable. Additionally, finding innovative solutions using existing functionality without the need for development is important. The team operates in a rapidly evolving environment and having knowledge of operational controls, regulatory requirements, risk management, and cybersecurity principles is highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Propose, design and roll out new business products and services in line with the market and the overall company strategy
• Work with other departments to ensure for timely and smooth new product launches
• Know the ins and outs of the industry and competitors and use that knowledge to shape Hex Trust’s competitive advantage 
• Build relationships with external industry participants and leverage product and business synergies to build new products and services
• Increase operational efficiency within the team and across different teams
• Participate in ad-hoc projects, both internal and external

• Experience in interacting with B2B clients and understand their needs
• Good knowledge of the blockchain industry, ideally with focus on Custody, Staking and DeFi
• Good understanding of the technical principles of the Custody, Staking and DeFi
• Product management experience is a plus
• Ability to collaborate well with a wide range of stakeholders, internal and external
• Ability to operate and excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision
• Be a motivated and resourceful self-starter who is also a team player

Expected Skills

You will actively participate in the development of fifty-five in the region by fostering awareness and thought leadership, communicating about its know-how, innovations and case studies externally.

As a member of the marketing team (including 6 in Paris, 1 in Hong Kong and 1 in the US), you will contribute to the development of our regional communication strategy, by creating strong communication axes translated into quality content and the organization of events allowing fifty-five to communicate effectively with its clients and prospects.

Your contributions can take the following forms (list not exhaustive):

• Assist the development of the marketing content strategy, through our content website “the tea house”: editorial planning, content co-writing, publication on the website, and promotion
• Assist in the organization of customer, partner and public relations events
• Management of fifty-five's pages on social networks (WeChat mainly)
• Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure smooth execution of the tasks required
• Coordination of fifty-five's communications: newsletters, press releases, conferences, trade shows, etc.
• Management of marketing resources: centralization, harmonization and redistribution of shared resources within 55 (inter-team, inter-office)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Communication/Business Administration/Marketing or related disciplines.

Reception and Office Management

• Handle office main line, screen calls, and provide client support
• Manage meeting rooms, common areas, and office visitors
• Maintain office equipment and manage office supplies
• Administer office security system and manage access cards
• Coordinate travel requests for Hong Kong team and visitors
• Manage business cards for all employees and assist with event scheduling.
• Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Oversee IT support for the office, including hardware and software arrangements for new joiners
• Support new joiner and leaver processes, including printer and phone system setup
• Manage office work mobiles, contracts and renewals on a timely manner.
• Maintain and update stock and checklist on fixed assets and office equipment

Marketing and Business Support

• Assist with sales and marketing requirements for the office
• Coordinate event registrations, source and liaise with venues, manage logistics for marketing materials.
• Update administrative and CRM records and produce reports upon request

Operational Support

• Assist with credit card transactions, preparation of purchase orders, and tracking of expense reports.
• Provide ad hoc support to finance and business when needed

Essential

• Attention to detail and a passion for admin, process and efficiency
• Good command of English language skills (spoken and written)
• Experience in reception work, office management and maintenance, travel arrangements and sales and marketing coordination
• Able to work to tight deadlines
• Highly collaborative, enabling a working partnership with multiple team members across multiple disciplines

Preferred

• Worked in a multinational corporate environment

• Certificate or higher in a related field
• 3-5 years of prior experience in reception, office management, travel coordination, and sales/marketing support.
