Responsibilities:

Leadership and Representation:

Supervise and manage the logistics team in our Hong Kong office.

Act as the representative for our Hong Kong office in logistical matters.

Logistics Management:

Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery.

Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize processes.

Quality Management:

Maintain and enhance quality control processes within the logistics function.

Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.

RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization):

Manage the RMA process, including returns, replacements, and refunds.

Work closely with customer service and other teams to address RMA-related issues.

Supply Chain Management:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of supply chain principles.

Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to streamline supply chain processes.

Customs Regulations and Procedures:

Possess extensive knowledge of customs regulations and procedures for each country in the region.

Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in logistics management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.

Skills:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF

We are seeking an ambitious and driven Finance Assistant whose values align with our TEAM; standing for Together, Extra-mile, Accountable and Mindful. The Finance Assistant works closely with the Regional Head of Finance and the Accountant, as well as the rest of the Finance Team, to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day financial transactions, such as processing payments, maintaining cost reports and managing invoices. The core focus is to maintain the financial health of the business, ensuring we use our resources beneficially.

ROLE AND RESPONIBILITIES

• Build solid relationships and give financial support across all departments and to vendors.
• General journal entries, cash flow projection, bank reconciliation, bills and payments, and ensuring all data is tracked daily.
• Record accounts payable and accounts receivable and prepare proof of payments and debit note invoices to respective parties on a timely basis.
• Handle a complete set of accounts independently and prepare month-end closing, balance sheets and P&L statements timely and accurately.
• Assist in preparing monthly consolidated accounts, landlord reports, tax computations and filing, year-end audit, and liaising with auditors to collate the requested documentation.
• Perform invoice billing and liaise with the operation team in resolving billing issues.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to get accurate data on actual costs incurred.
• Monitor cash flow position and forecast with division inputs to provide bi-weekly updates.
• Support monthly payroll and keep organised records.
• Perform daily accounting duties, including financial reporting functions, bookkeeping, transaction reconciliation and identifying discrepancies, budgeting and cash flow, and giving biweekly updates.
• Process invoice billing and follow up operations team with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
• Proactively identify and resolve accounting and financial errors and suggest process improvements.
• Track and reconcile bank statements.
• Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting

• Handle full sets of accounts including but not limited to financial and management reporting, AR, AP, management fee records, bank reconciliation, etc

About the Role

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Actuarial Valuation: Support to manage the IFRS 17 financial reporting on a regular basis, ensure detailed analysis on the movements in key financials and identify the underlying key drivers for the financial results; Support to manage the auditor engagement for regular reporting
• Financial Management: Support to prepare the annual budget exercise, perform regular forecast on financial KPIs, highlight the risks and opportunities as part of financial management for meeting Group’s financial objectives; Assess the impacts from assumption changes to facilitate the decisions

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Good progress in Actuarial professional examination
• Knowledge in insurance products and IFRS 4 / IFRS 17 will be an asset
• Ability to investigate complex technical issues and communicate the findings and implications
• Proficiency in Actuarial Software – Prophet, especially Prophet ALS is a plus

Our client an import-export company, is currently seeking to hire a Shipping and Admin Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Handling the work related to shipping of goods (exports / imports) by air using FedEx, UPS, and other freight forwarders in coordination with Sales, Warehouse and finance.
• Daily office clerical duties, such as filing, office expenses, etc. related as reception.
• Online declaration of insurance related to goods.
• Annual renewal of BR and Hong Kong trade licenses, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Shipping Part

• After getting the export order from Sales team, check the price/rates from Forwarder or Courier company and then place the booking order.
• Arranging/booking the transport from warehouse to airport or other warehouses.
• Payment of FedEx/courier companies – get the invoice, check it with the rates, input the invoice in the system. By end of the month, follow up to ensure the payment is done. Send payment advice to FedEx/courier companies.
• Fill necessary custom related Import / Export declaration forms.
• To do insurance of goods, if required (in case of high value goods).
• Coordination of shipments in case goods are moving from second country to third country and goods are not coming to Hongkong in transit.

Licenses

• To ensure licenses are renewed on time.
• Business Registration License of different entities .
• Radio Dealer License .
• Textile Trader Registration.

Administration

• To maintain office equipment’s and arranging stationery and pantry items.
• Handling incoming and outgoing couriers such as FedEx and SF, incoming fax– tie up with a courier company.
• Make payments through Alipay and cheques for petty expenses and enter the payments into the system.
• Ensuring contracts of Internet, mobile, landline connections are in place and timely payment of those.
• Ticketing/hotel/visa bookings, if required.
• Assisting in celebrations, gifting, etc, if required.
• Preparing sales invoice.
• Filing of documents.
• Making system entry for all purchases of goods.
• Issuing Debit note/Credit note, in case required.
