In this role, you are required to supervise the Retail Operations & Support team in managing branch operation to ensure adequate and competent manpower is deployed to provide quality branch service and uphold robust operational controls. This team is also required to help branches resolve daily issues of various kind, provide operation guidelines and training, enhance productivity and support business development. Main Responsibilities: Plan and manage manpower resources to ensure adequate and competent staff are employed and deployed to support branch services. Manage performance of branch operation staff to provide high quality branch services and uphold robust operational controls in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Resolve daily operation issues of branches to ensure smooth and quality services to customers. Develop business and operational guidelines in consultation with various RBD business, frontline departments or other divisions to ensure RBD sales and delivery compliance with regulatory guidelines, compliance requirements and internal control policies. Ensure tracking and resolution of operational incidents, and internal control findings or issues are properly and timely followed up. Ensure relevant risk and control MIS reports are timely reviewed and suspicion/ incidents timely reported. Arrange training on risk control or compliance awareness and operational and AML control for RBD staff as appropriate. To meet the challenge, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes: Degree holder with at least 10 years’ experience in Retail Banking Operation. In depth knowledge of risk and control framework and sound experience in retail banking operation. Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably including Putonghua. PC literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
