Job Responsibilities: Ensure the private banking business operates in compliance with all regulations, guidelines, policies and procedures in relation to selling of investment and insurance products (“I & I”). Perform checking and monitoring on I&I transactions, escalate any issues and risk to the management as appropriate in a timely manner. Prepare business data and monitoring reports for management’s review. Recommend process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of I & l operations and mitigate operational risk. Collaborate with Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance and Product departments to establish and update the policies and procedures related to the private banking business. Provide staff training in relation to I & l selling process, regulations, and internal guidelines. Prepare periodic MIS reports. Participate in bank-wide and departmental projects.   Job Requirements: Degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related disciplines. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial institution (preferably in banking industry), with hands-on experience in quality assurance of I & I products selling. Sound knowledge of operation and risk control in private banking and wealth management. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills. Solid organizational skills and multitasking skills. Positive thinking, strong initiative, result-oriented and willing to embrace challenges. Conversant with the banking rules and regulatory requirements (HKMA, SFC & IA).
