Key Responsibilities -Review business and operational processes to ensure: Ensure proper implementation of corrective actions to address control deficiencies Identify, assess, and offer insights on control needs for risks mitigation to help improving operational risks; Ensure OPG owned policies, guidelines, procedures and practices are in place to address key Operational risks and that are aligned with the Bank’s statutory and regulatory requirements; and Ensure audit findings are rectified properly. Undertake consistent liaison and collaboration with internal audit, external audit, ORM, compliance and etc. Ensure suggestions received from compliance assessment, gap analysis exercises or thematic reviews are implemented. -Lead, manage and improve operational risk and control within OPG, including but not limited to the following: - Monitor operations risk cases, and escalate incidents and risk events to management. Ensure Risk and Control Self-Assessment (“RCSA”) are periodically reviewed, with mitigation actions properly implemented; and Regularly review the effectiveness of OPG KRIs. Propose changes and monitor OPG KRIs reported, assess changes in risk exposure level from the early warning signals and ensure that risk exposures can be probably managed and rectified. Ensure that the adoption of new KRIs as early warning system is measurable, quantifiable, accurate and risk-reflective. Conduct Quality Assurance testing of relevant controls for OPG when required. Conduct regular trainings to OPG colleagues to raise risk awareness and control measures. -Support Bank-wide key strategic compliance and operational risk initiatives such as BCP management, OR2 Operational Resiliency Framework, outsourcing review, risk tool implementation, and etc. -Support risk management reporting, e.g. dashboards -Liaise and coordinate with other control functions on operational risk and control activities Requirements Degree holder or equivalent preferably in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management or related professional qualification With 5 years of banking experience in process design, operation and operational risk management Good knowledge of a variety of banking products and operational risk management framework, best practices in quality and presentation High awareness of both quality and risk, especially compliance-related risk and security issues Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Manager
