C ommercial Banking - Wholesale Client Coverage Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies. For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Sustainable Finance. The role is responsible for overseeing the sustainable finance team in originating and structuring sustainable finance opportunities for potential and existing clients on HASE Hong Kong market in view of the increasing number of deals and volume. The role holder will work with relationship management teams to provide different types of sustainable finance products to our corporate customers and to ensure the transactions can be executed smoothly and timely, and also to advise our corporate customers the sustainability solution for their transition journeys. Principal responsibilities Manage and Lead the sustainable finance team Originate and structure sustainable finance transactions including syndicated/club and bilateral loans Work with our relationship management teams and to drive business development initiatives in sustainable finance transactions for our corporate customers Conduct sustainability analysis on our corporate customers, sustainable finance market, and provide advices and sustainability solution to our corporate clients to support their transition journeys. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for promotion of sustainable finance products Build up networks in the market for market intelligence and ongoing update/ monitoring of the industry Participate in seminars or meetings hosted by relevant external associations/regulatory bodies, to share industry practice Work closely with external organization in sustainable finance related aspect in order to explore different collaboration for the Bank Formulate guidelines/strategies with risk management to safeguard sustainability risk. Lead internal teams to work with Group for alignment of guidelines and strategies Requirements Requirements University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines with passion in driving sustainable finance development Minimum 8 years of relevant experiences in lending or relationship management or sustainable finance area, with at least 2 years team leading/deputy team leading role.
