Our client, a leading IT services company is currently seeking to hire an Contract Field Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Act as single point of contact for users for all IT Incidents and Service Request.
- Provide daily technical support to end- user for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware, either in person or remotely.
- Install and configure software and hardware on Windows and Mac operating systems, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Respond to incidents and requests in a timely manner and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team, keeping users informed of progress and ensuring that all incidents are resolved within SLA.
- Log, track, follow up, update and monitor issues logged into ServiceNow (ticketing system).
- Work closely with other Information Technology teams, including Technology Ops (Network Infra & Server), and Group Information Security teams, to ensure the seamless delivery of technology services, collaborating on projects and initiatives as required.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware.
- Part of internal IT projects, in charge of onboarding/offboarding of all IT projects and end-user computing services.
- Liaise with service providers and vendors.
- Convey issues clearly to next-level engineers or teams.
- Provide user training as and when required .
- Diploma or related discipline.
- With relevant working experience is preferable but not essential.
- Good communication skill and customer oriented behavior.
