Our client, a leading IT services company is currently seeking to hire an IT Support.
Responsibilities:
- Act as single point of contact for users for all IT Incidents and Service Request.
- Provide daily technical support to end user for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other hardware, either in person or remotely.
- Install and configure software and hardware on Windows and Mac operating systems, ensuring that all systems are up-to-date and secure.
- Respond to incidents and requests in a timely manner and escalate complex issues to the appropriate team, keeping users informed of progress and ensuring that all incidents are resolved within SLA.
- Log, track, follow up, update and monitor issues logged into ServiceNow (ticketing system).
- Work closely with other Information Technology teams, including Technology Ops (Network Infra & Server), and Group Information Security teams, to ensure the seamless delivery of technology services, collaborating on projects and initiatives as required.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware.
- Part of internal IT projects, in charge of onboarding/offboarding of all IT projects and end-user computing services.
- Liaise with service providers and vendors.
- Convey issues clearly to next-level engineers or teams.
- Provide user training as and when required.
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Computer Studies.
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in in related field.
- Proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer or similar role.
- Fast learner with a positive working attitude.
- Possess analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong sense of urgency, time-management and able to work under pressure.
- Good organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly, in a fast-paced changing environment.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as within teams required.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users in a clear and concise manner and build strong relationships with users.
- Proficient in English and Mandarin (reading, speaking, and writing).
- Good understanding of computer hardware and software, networking, and office equipment.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products, E.G, Windows, Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Have experience in Windows Auto Pilot & MS MFA.
