Contract Infrastructure Engineer

Our client, a leading banking company, is currently seeking to hire a Contract Infrastructure Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Wintel related system administration and technical support.
• Perform system upgrade, software patching, capacity planning, performance tuning and security hardening.
• Provide technical support to application team on system configuration and troubleshooting.
• Support and administration on Managed File Transfer Platform.
• Support and administration on ITSM Platform.
• Maintain and support Inventory and CMDB Platform.
• Perform Inventory Asset Report.

1. Knowledge, Skill & Attributes

• Hands-on experience in supporting Windows OS, Active Directory, O365/Exchange Online, Backup/Recovery Strategy, SCCM
• Hands-on experience in VMWare Virtualization Platform
• Experience in Inventory and Asset Management
• Experience in Secure File Transfer System
• Experience in Project Management and Vendor Management will be an advantage
• Experience in Avaya PABX system and MS Teams Room will be an advantage
• Work independently, good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good team player, self-motivated, good communication skills

1. Academic and Professional Qualification

• Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology or related disciplines
• Holder of MCSE/MCSA/MCITP or relevant certifications is preferred
• Holder of VCP or relevant certifications will be an advantage
• Holder of ITIL Certification will be an advantage

1. Training and Relevant Experiences

• At least 5 years of relevant experience for Wintel Infrastructure in large-scale project or support
• Banking or Financial Services experience will be an advantage
• Microsoft, VMWare and ITIL Training will be an advantage
• Candidates with less relevant experience will also be considered
